Iambi Farm Project

Like so many Tanzanians, I love to tend the land and farm fresh vegetables. Partnerships I have with a longtime friend from California, USA and a church in Minnesota, USA came together to create the Iambi Farm Project. Iambi Lutheran Hospital is a rural hospital in Central Tanzania. With few resources, the hospital staff struggled to have enough resources to provide for their families. But the hospital had 130 acres of land that sat empty … and I had a tractor that could till the land. In October of 2019 I transported the tractor to Iambi Hospital. Today we watch and wait as 130 acres of corn begins to grow. We pray that God will bless the land with rain for a good harvest, and that the hospital staff will have enough for all of their families.
