Jambo! Hello! My name is Bashiri Abdullah, owner and operator of Good News Safari. I am so happy that you are checking out my Tanzanian tour company. I have been a safari driver guide since 2000, leading hundreds of groups on journeys throughout the Serengeti, Ngororo, and many of our other outstanding national parks.

I received my certification as a tour guide from Mount Meru College, where I stayed on as a teacher for two years. In my earlier years, I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru, and Mount Kenya, but my true joy now is to serve as a safari driver guide. It doesn’t matter how many times I have followed lions in the Serengeti or watched elephants at Tarangire National Park, each time I enter into the wilderness I am amazed at the beauty of nature and the wonder of my country.

I love to meet guests from all over the world and give people the trip of a lifetime. My guests quickly become my dear friends, keeping in touch for many years after their time in Tanzania. I hope to meet you soon so that I may call you my rafiki too.
